Side Meetings at ISAR-8

Are you looking to host a focused discussion on your group’s specific topic during ISAR-8?

We can provide meeting space during the symposium. This is a great opportunity to bring together researchers, industry professionals, and experts to share insights, explore collaborations, and advance knowledge in your field.

If you’re interested in organizing a side meeting during ISAR-8, please see the details below for logistics and support. To arrange your meeting, please submit your request (see below) by June 30.

Note: Meeting rooms are limited. Final acceptance will be determined by the
ISAR-8 LOC’s judgment.

Logistics

  • The following time slots are available for side meetings:

Available rooms (four rooms in total):

  • One large room (capacity: 100 people)
  • Three small rooms (capacity: 50 people each)

Equipment:

  • Microphones, speakers, and a projector will be available at the venue. However, this system cannot connect directly to a PC, meaning it cannot be used for online participants.
  • If using a web conferencing system such as Zoom, please make your own arrangements (e.g., set up the link, configure your own computers, etc.).
  • Wi-Fi will be available during the symposium.

Available Dates & Time Slots:

  • October 29 (Wednesday): 12:45 – 14:15 (90 mins)
  • October 30 (Thursday): 12:45 – 14:15 (90 mins)
  • October 30 (Thursday): 18:30 – 20:00 (90 mins)

Cost:

  • Free of charge.

Deadline

  • The submission deadline is June 30. If you prefer to have your side meeting listed in the official conference program, please notify us when you apply.

How to Reserve a room:
To request a room, please use the via the Side Meeting (Link) provide the following details:

  1. Contact person information for the side meeting request (name, affiliation, E-mail address)
  2. Information on the meeting organizers (names, affiliations, Email addresses)
  3. Information about your side meeting
    • Title of your side meeting
    • Preferred date and time
    • Expected number of attendees
    • Meeting type (Open or closed)
    • Preference for listing in the symposium program (Yes or no)
  4. Any specific requirements or concerns

Note: The LOC will do its best to arrange the time and date based on your preference,
however, please understand that it may not always be possible. If you would like your side meeting to be listed in the symposium program, please indicate this in the form.
